In Shakespeare's time a glass of 'Alicante' was considered the finest wine in Europe. Today the region is home to some of the finest organic wines in the world. Discover unique and rare grapes, wines harvested by hand and matured in clay amphora the anicent way
two wheeled wine tours
With gentle rides to suit all abilities, the weeks is designed for active people who quality food and good glass of wine, in beautiful surroundings with like minded people. The riding each day is achievable, but longer routes or a challenging hill can be added for good measure. There's also a support vehicle on stand by to take the strain or stick with supplies from your favourite bodega.
Groups are limited to only 8-10 people and we'll visit the amazing landscapes of the Serra Mariola, the vineyards of the Valencia 'tuscany' of Fontanars, historic towns such as Bocairent and Xativa, the stunning modern architecture of Valencia's city of Arts & Sciences and much more, as well as the foodie heaven of Valencia Central market.
Non riders are welcome too, as it's possible to take the tour in the vehicle. There is also plenty of time to relax at Casa Sanz or the local mountain lakes, and of course to enjoy dinners at a fantastic selection of restaurants. We also host paella, BBQ and wine tasting evening at the Casa Sanz.
