Leaving Muro de Alcoy the climb gently follows the perimeter of the Serra Mariola towards Agres, from where we descend back down to Ontinyent. It in an open climb with views of the Serra Mariola and Albaida and is especially enjoyable towards sunset if cycling when the days are short. With an easterly Levante wind behind you, the shallow slopes ensure swift progress.
